2nd + 3rd October

Swan Hill Show arrived on the calendar for the team on Friday 2nd October. The team travelled to Swan Hills annual show looking forward to putting on a big event. The weather couldn’t even stop us from performing. Our first Show was at 12.30 and it was raining and not looking like letting up. We were determined to not let the rain ruin our fun so the show went on in the wet conditions. The guys had to take it easy on some tricks and make sure they landed dead straight otherwise the bike would just slip out from under them. Then out of no were Nathan and Dex decided they would flip the jump even in the horrible conditions amazing the small crowed that braved the weather. The second show was under lights at 8.00pm and by then the rain had disappeared and the crowed had packed in. Nathan, Dex, and Jordan Ives put on an awesome display for the crowed. Hayden the team announcer was unable to attend the show being the first one he had missed in almost 3 years. Travis then had to try and fill some big shoes and got the job done pretty well for his first go on the mic.

On the 3rd October the Whip Industries mini bike team made the short journey to Nathalia to perform at their annual show. Having done this event last year we knew we would be in for a fun day.
Not only would we performing our own shows we would also partake in the farm bike competition which sees a rider travel around an obstacle course on an old farm bike. This was cause for some friendly competition among the riders. Whip Industries rider Nathan Whitten took home first place followed closely (one point behind) by team mate Jake Spooner and rounding out the podium was Travis Whitten making it a Whip Industries clean sweep.
Our Freestyle shows were a little less competitive with all four riders having a blast with some big tricks and the return of some old favourites. Andrew stomped a super technical Switchblade no hander.
Trav was in fine form with some huge superman’s and double nacs.
Jake rode solidly and performed some signature Indians and Monster nacs.
Last but not least Nathan executed some big barhops and technical no- foot saran wraps while also finishing the show with a big no-handed back flip.

Whip Industries are performing Friday night and all throughout Saturday at the Shepparton Show on the 9th and 10th of October, so if you’re in the area come and see our new show its Bigger and Better than before!
