Whip Industries mic man Haydes sat down to have a Q&A with our new grom Jordan Ives. Jordan has been filling in for some of the riders at shows recently and eveytime he impresses the team with his solid tricks and is not afraid to push his limits to learn more. This is how it went.

Haydes: Hey Jordan how’s things?

Jordan: Hey haydes yeah things couldn’t be better, on holidays and its hot

H: I hear you have been on a few road trips with the team lately how is that?

J: Yeah the trips have been awesome so far, Im having a ball doing the shows with the boys and learning heaps as I go along.

H: How did you get to start riding with the team?

J: Well I have known the Whitten boys since I was little and when I got my 50 I made a little track out the back of our house and started learning some little tricks over the dirt jumps and then I borrowed one of the Whittens little kicker ramp and things sort of progressed a bit learning the basic tricks. Then I got asked around for a ride on the minis  at the Whitten’s house and I started doing some tricks on the bigger ramps and things went ahead from there.

H: What has been the highlight for you since your first show with Whip?

J: The highlight would have to be Dandenong show where the crowds were awesome and I did my first superman in a show which was pretty sweet

H: You have only been free styling your mini a short while yet have some killer tricks up your sleeve what would you like to work on next?

J: I’m wanting to try a seat grab at the moment but I have recently been fliping to foam and I want to give that a go to dirt in the future.

H: Well that about wraps it up any last word from the new kid?

J: Id like to thank the team for the opportunity to ride with them and look forward to more good riding in the future.
